Secure Connectivity for Energy Infrastructure
A client in the energy sector needed to deploy IoT nodes that could connect reliably and securely to their cloud infrastructure. Given the critical nature of their systems, security was a top priority from day one.
We designed the firmware with protection at every layer. The node included secure boot to prevent unauthorized code execution, a secure element for key storage, authenticated handshakes before any data exchange, and full encryption of flash memory.
To support regulatory compliance, we also helped the client align the implementation with the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act. Security features were built into the firmware from the beginning, not added later.
The result was a connected device that met strict cybersecurity demands and was ready for certification.
